The RoofTop

The scene is that place that every college kid should know about. It's that spot that if you know about it, you are "in."

For me, that spot is called "The Rooftop." There's an old partially abandoned building in the middle of the city that the fire escape is open for anyone to climb to the top of the twelve story building. The view from the rooftop is amazing, and of course it's the place where all the best parties are happening right now.

My first experience with the rooftop was yesterday night. I have been hearing about this place for quite some time now, but I never got an invite. Since it's nearly impossible to find unless you already know where it's at, and the parties always have a bouncer at the bottom of the fire escape; you can't really get in without an invite. I met this girl last week that told me about it. When I mentioned interest, she immediately invited me to come with her.

So last night I met up with her around 11pm at my college and we walked a good mile or two before going through a series of back allies with her friends that led to the rooftop. It felt like some really shady rave that I was going to, but the party turned out to be quite the party... especially with that girl. It was full of people doing graffiti, drinking Four Lokos and, hooking up.

Needless to say, I turned my charm on and brought that girl home with me. It was one of the most epic nights of my college experience this semester. Now that I have exclusive access to The Rooftop and can invite people myself, I'm sure to enjoy the rest of this semester.
